BonaDea

Overview: AIGA’s SHINE program pairs mentors and mentees together to work on a 4-month project. There were a few general topics that mentors and mentees could chose from such as: domestic violence, food desert and access to quality nutrition, gentrification, homelessness, immigration, race & gender, veterans issues, and water access and safety.

Programs Used: Adobe Illustrator & Adobe XD

Main Roles:

  • Collaborated with my mentee, Lauren, to create an app for women with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The main purpose was to empower women with IDD to become experts in the management of their own health through an accessible, educational, and practical solution.

  • Mentored mentee throughout the whole project. Assisted with the development of the brand name + identity, along with the UI/UX process.
